Tyrese Maxey led the Philadelphia 76ers (37-30) to a 109-98 win against the Charlotte Hornets (17-51), scoring 30 points despite a flagrant foul that left him with a bloody nose.

Maxey’s resilience was matched by Kelly Oubre Jr., who contributed 22 points to help secure the win for the Sixers.

Despite missing key players like Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris, Philadelphia showcased their depth, with Buddy Hield and Paul Reed stepping up with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

On the Hornets’ side, Tre Mann led the scoring with 21 points, supported by Davis Bertans with 16 points and Miles Bridges with 14.

Charlotte made a late push in the fourth quarter, taking the lead briefly, but Maxey and Oubre’s offensive prowess proved too much for the Hornets to handle.
