Dejounte Murray’s explosive performance propelled the Atlanta Hawks (29-34) to a hard-fought 99-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies (22-42) on Friday night.

Murray dropped a career-high-matching 41 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists.

Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela provided crucial support, contributing 16 points and 15 points respectively, as the Hawks extended their winning streak to three games.

Despite missing key players, including Trae Young, the Hawks rallied behind Murray’s exceptional performance to secure a vital win in their playoff push.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 21 points, while Jake LaRavia and Vince Williams Jr. chipped in with 14 points each.

Memphis started strong, building an early 11-point lead, but struggled to maintain their momentum as Atlanta’s defense tightened in the second quarter.
