Here’s Cleveland Cavaliers head coach JB Bickerstaff applauding Dean Wade’s heroic performance following last night’s 105-104 home win vs. the Boston Celtics (career-high 23 points/had what would be the game-winning putback dunk with 19 seconds left).

Reporter: “Dean Wade outscored the Celtics in the final quarter and ended up having the game-winning putback dunk. What was he able to bring tonight in that final quarter?”

Bickerstaff: “He was himself. This is a version of Dean Wade that we’ve seen in the past, and it’s the one that we press and press and press for him to be. When Dean Wade is playing with that extreme confidence, he’s a hell of a basketball player. He’s a multifaceted guy, he’s not just a spot up shooter. We know the things he can do defensively, but he has an offensive game. Tonight, he got it rolling. But the belief, the confidence, that’s who Dean Wade is at his core.”
