Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green offered high praise for Toronto Raptors’ rising star Scottie Barnes, suggesting that Barnes will surpass his own accomplishments on the court.

Green commended Barnes’ versatility and impact on the game, highlighting his ability to elevate the point forward position to new heights.

“Me playing the point forward position, I’m not going to sit up here and act like I was the first one to do it, but I think I’ve done it a little differently than most and he’ll take that to another level… I think Scottie will do way more than I ever did,” Green said about Barnes after the Warriors defeated the Raptors, per Josh Lewenberg.

Barnes, a 22-year-old small forward, has been a standout performer for the Raptors this season, showcasing his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities.

With impressive averages of 19.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game, Barnes has emerged as a dynamic force on the court, becoming an All-Star for the first time in his career this season.
