In a closely contested matchup, the Cleveland Cavaliers (37-19) secured a hard-fought 114-105 victory over the Washington Wizards (9-48) on Sunday night.

The Cavs were led by Jarrett Allen’s double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, alongside Caris LeVert’s 18 points and 12 boards.

Evan Mobley contributed 21 points, while Donovan Mitchell returned from illness to add 16 points, bolstering Cleveland’s efforts to maintain their position as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

Despite a strong performance from Jordan Poole, who scored a season-high 31 points, and Kyle Kuzma’s 27 points, the Wizards extended their losing streak to 11 games under interim coach Brian Keefe.

Washington faced setbacks with Bilal Coulibaly exiting the game early due to injury, further depleting the Wizards’ roster depth.
