According to Toronto Sun, American guard Anthony Parker denied Haaretz.com which reported that Maccabi Tel Aviv and Toronto Raptors has opened negotiations about his possibility to return to the club he helped to win twice Euroleague and five Israel Premier League titles.
They said that we're talking and that's not true," Parker said. "I know my old coach is back there and there is talk about a whole bunch of stuff right now.
"I occasionally bump into Maccabi fans all over the NBA and they say the same thing to me: 'Come back'. It's good to be wanted, but there's nothing to it right now. I've said from the beginning that I want to stay here and be a Raptor. I love the organization, I love the players here and I'm letting everyone know that I want to remain."
Parker is under contract with Toronto Raptors until at least the end of the season.
