Paolo Banchero led the Orlando Magic (25-23) to a 108-98 triumph against the San Antonio Spurs (10-38), scoring 25 points alongside Franz Wagner’s 20.

Wendell Carter Jr. added 14 points for Orlando, while Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony contributed 11 each.

Despite a late surge by the Spurs, who went on a 15-0 run in the final quarter, the Magic managed to secure the win, with Devin Vassell contributing 26 points for San Antonio.

Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama contributed 21 points, eight rebounds and five blocks in 30 minutes on the court. Jeremy Sochan added 18 points and 12 rebounds but couldn’t maintain the momentum throughout the game.

San Antonio struggled without Keldon Johnson, who was sidelined with a left elbow laceration.
