Monaco has taken disciplinary action against guard Elie Okobo, announcing his temporary suspension due to a violation of the club’s internal rules. The decision raises uncertainty about Okobo’s availability for Monaco’s upcoming EuroLeague games.

In an official statement, AS Monaco Basket declared, “AS Monaco Basket has temporarily suspended Elie Okobo for violating the Club’s internal rules. As a result, Okobo has been banned from all activities relating to AS Monaco for the time being.”

As the team’s third-leading scorer this season, averaging 10.2 points per game in 19 appearances (three as a starter), Okobo’s absence could impact Monaco’s performance in crucial EuroLeague encounters.

Monaco, coming off a historic EuroLeague Final Four appearance last season, currently holds the eighth position in the standings with a 10-9 record. They will face Baskonia and Panathinaikos in the next two games.
