Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans (19-14) orchestrated a powerful response to their season’s most humiliating loss, crushing the Los Angeles Lakers (17-17) with a commanding 129-109 victory.

Williamson and Brandon Ingram, each contributing 26 points, led the Pelicans to a redemptive triumph.

LeBron James scored 34 points, and Anthony Davis added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers, but their efforts couldn’t prevent the team from losing seven of their last nine games.

In a display of team unity, the Pelicans’ “Big Three” – Williamson, Ingram, and CJ McCollum (22 points) – each scored 20 or more points.

Larry Nance Jr., in just his second game back from injury, contributed with 11 points and 10 rebounds, adding to the Pelicans’ well-rounded performance.

Despite missing key players like Trey Murphy III and facing Lakers’ absences, the Pelicans maintained their focus, capitalizing on CJ McCollum’s six 3-pointers and Jose Alvarado’s defensive prowess with four steals and two blocks.
