Former NBA center DeMarcus Cousins, aged 33, is set to begin a new chapter in his basketball career as he joins the T1 League’s Taiwan Beer Leopards.

Scheduled to make his debut on January 20, the details of Cousins’ contract have been disclosed by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski – a 10-day agreement.

Wojnarowski shared on Twitter, “Four-time NBA All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins’ agreement with the Taiwan Beer Leopards is for a 10-day and four game period, sources tell ESPN. Cousins is expected to join the team in mid-January.”

Cousins, boasting a rich NBA history, was last seen on the court during the 2021-22 season, representing the Denver Nuggets.

Following his NBA tenure, Cousins ventured into the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league in Puerto Rico, contributing significantly to the Guaynabo Mets in the previous season.

During his stint in Puerto Rico, Cousins showcased his versatility, maintaining impressive averages of 20.4 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, all accomplished in a mere 25 minutes of gameplay.
