The Sacramento Kings (13-8) showcased their sharpshooting prowess, setting a franchise record with 25 3-pointers in a convincing 131-118 triumph over the Brooklyn Nets (12-10) on Monday night.

DeAaron Fox led the charge with 29 points and nine assists, while Domantas Sabonis contributed a near triple-double with 15 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists. Keegan Murray and Malik Monk added significant firepower with 24 and 21 points, respectively.

The Kings’ exceptional shooting performance included a remarkable 55.6% from beyond the arc, breaking their previous record of 23 3-pointers. Fox and Trey Lyles were the main contributors, each sinking five threes.

Despite facing a Nets team that had been on a hot streak, winning six of their previous seven games, the Kings maintained control for most of the game.

Harrison Barnes, with his timely 3-pointers, responded to the Nets’ attempt to narrow the gap, helping the Kings secure their third consecutive victory against Brooklyn, including a season sweep last year.
