De’Aaron Fox’s stellar performance with 26 points and a career-high 16 assists, coupled with Malik Monk’s clutch 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, led the Sacramento Kings (11-7) to a 123-117 triumph over the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets (14-7), on Saturday night, spoiling Nikola Jokic’s NBA-leading eighth triple-double.

Nikola Jokic delivered an impressive performance with 36 points, 14 assists, and 13 rebounds, marking his 114th career triple-double.

Monk contributed significantly with 26 points, while Domantas Sabonis added 17 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists for the Kings.

Despite a strong offensive showing by the Nuggets, with Reggie Jackson scoring 20 points and Aaron Gordon returning to the lineup with 17 points and seven rebounds, it wasn’t enough to thwart the Kings.
