NBA Commissioner Adam Silver hinted at potential expansion teams beyond Seattle and Las Vegas, mentioning Mexico City, Vancouver, and Montreal as possibilities.

Silver, on a Celtics-Knicks broadcast, acknowledged interest from these cities, especially mentioning Montreal, which has reached out to the NBA, according to Keith Smith.

While Seattle and Las Vegas appear frontrunners for the next two teams, Silver raised the question of the NBA potentially expanding beyond two teams, aiming for a total of 34.

Smith suggested a timeline, anticipating Seattle and Las Vegas within 2-3 years post the new TV deal and foreseeing an additional two teams added a couple of years later.
