According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the San Antonio Spurs are parting ways with forward Khem Birch.
Birch, who was acquired in a trade on February 9, 2023, from the Raptors, was involved in a deal that also included a 2024 first-round pick and two future second-round picks in exchange for Jakob Poeltl.
Despite the trade, Birch did not make an appearance on the court for the Spurs.
During his tenure with the Raptors, the 31-year-old averaged 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.1 minutes per game.
