Walter Tavares is currently facing a respiratory infection, and his availability for Real Madrid’s upcoming clash with arch-rival FC Barcelona on Sunday is highly uncertain.
The infection kept him out of action during Spain’s Liga Endesa Regular Season Round 2.
Despite his absence, Coach Chus Mateo’s team emerged victorious against BAXI Manresa in an away game, securing a 2-0 record at the forefront of the 2023-24 ACB edition.
As a result of the ongoing infection, it is anticipated that Tavares may also be sidelined for Round 3.
