The Kings have made an addition to their training camp roster by signing Deonte Burton, according to Brenden Nunes. Burton’s journey to the Kings includes stints in both the NBA and the G League.
Burton’s journey with the Kings began when he secured a spot on the Stockton Kings’ opening night roster on November 3, 2022.
Later, on January 30, 2023, he inked a 10-day contract with Sacramento. However, his time with the Kings was brief as he was waived on February 8, subsequently returning to the Stockton Kings.
While with the Sacramento Kings, Burton made appearances in just two games and didn’t register any points on the scoreboard.
In the G League, his performance was more notable, averaging 12 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
