The Hornets have announced the signing of four players, Angelo Allegri, Nathan Mensah, Tre Scott, and Jaylen Sims. These signings come after their performances during the California Classic and NBA 2K24 summer leagues.

Angelo Allegri, a versatile player, showcased his skills at UNC Greensboro before transferring to Eastern Washington. He averaged 8.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists during his college career and earned All-Big Sky First Team honors in 2022-23.

Nathan Mensah, known for his shot-blocking prowess, led the Mountain West Conference in blocked shots twice during his five seasons at San Diego State. He also earned Defensive Player of the Year honors twice and helped his team reach the national championship game.

Tre Scott, who demonstrated his abilities with the Greensboro Swarm last season, brings his scoring and rebounding prowess to the Hornets. His experience includes stints with various G League teams and a brief NBA appearance with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jaylen Sims, an All-Colonial First Team selection, made significant contributions to UNC Wilmington and the Greensboro Swarm. His scoring ability and well-rounded game make him a valuable addition to the Hornets’ roster.

With these signings the Hornets roster now totals to 21 players as they prepare for the upcoming season.
