Charlotte Hornets president of basketball operations/general manager Mitch Kupchak believes that his current roster will be extremely close to making the 2024 postseason with LaMelo Ball as their franchise player.

“I think we’re very close to being a team that can be a playoff team. Of course I have my goals, and I know LaMelo has his goals, but I think we’re pretty close. I like our young players. I like our veterans. And of course, the cornerstone for this team going forward for the X number of years is LaMelo Ball.”
