The Magic have officially re-signed free agent center Moritz Wagner, as announced by President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Spotrac, the deal is for two years, worth $16 million.

Wagner played in 57 games for the Magic last season, averaging 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 19.5 minutes per game. As a starter, he averaged 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.00 steals in 26.4 minutes.

Wagner had 30 double-digit scoring games and recorded four games with 20+ points. Originally drafted by the Lakers in 2018, Wagner has played for multiple teams, including the Lakers, Washington, Boston, and Orlando.

In his NBA career, he has averaged 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. Wagner played college basketball at the University of Michigan, earning All-Big Ten Second Team honors and leading the Wolverines to the Big Ten Tournament championship.
