Loukas Mavrokefalides will be part of the new AEK roster for the upcoming season. The 32 years old Power Forward, was set free
from Panathinaikos to try his luck abroad, but he was not satisfied from the offers he got, deciding to join AEK for 1+1 years.
The Greek Forward had 5,2 points and 3,2 rebounds per game with Panathinaikos in Greek League, and in Euroleague he averaged 7 points per game. Mavrokefalides, who has previously played for Olympiacos, PAOK, Valenica, Roma, Barcelona and Spartak Saint Petersbourg and has also played for the Greek National Team, will be a very important addition for AEK, and his experience will boost the team’s game
