In a cryptic message to the Bulls, Patrick Beverley has hinted that he is eagerly awaiting a contract offer from the team. The veteran point guard, who joined the Bulls in February of this year, recently responded to a Twitter user’s question about his potential re-signing with the team.

Beverley, known for his tenacious defense and gritty playing style, replied to the tweet with a single clock emoji. This enigmatic response suggests that time is running out for the Bulls to make their move and secure his services for the upcoming season.

After a series of trades that took him from the Grizzlies to the Timberwolves, and then to the Jazz before ultimately landing with the Bulls, Beverley avreaged 5.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. However, he became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2022-23 season.

Earlier in the offseason, Beverley hinted at a possible reunion with former teammate James Harden in Houston. However, with reports indicating that Harden is likely to re-sign with the 76ers, the likelihood of that reunion appears to be diminishing.

As the clock ticks, Bulls fans eagerly await news of Beverley’s future with the team. Will they secure the feisty point guard’s return, or will another team swoop in and snatch him away? Only time will tell.
