The Portland Trail Blazers have turned off their notification notice for trade inquiries around Damian Lillard, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wojnarowski revealed in his latest appearance on the Pat McAfee Show that Lillard “wants to be in Portland, and the Blazers have shut down anybody who’s called about the possibility of trying to trade for him.”

After failing to emerge as the victors of the Bradley Beal sweepstakes, the Heat pivoted themselves in obtaining Lillard as they continue to hope that the star point man will ultimately request to be traded.

Lillard has consistently posed his warnings and demands to the Blazers organization to surround him with strong support in order to revive their contention status. Portland, for its part, remains determined to package their No. 3 overall pick in Thursday’s Draft to acquire a talent that will help them improve.
