After signing of Nikola Vujcic and Theo Papaloukas, Olympiacos Pireous will sign another big European name. Next member of the club will be Yotam Halperin, 24-years-old Israeli guard, who played for Maccabi Tel Aviv last two years.

Maccabi wasn’t satisfied with Halperin’s performance in Israeli Premiere League where they ended second after Hapoel Holon who finished years of their dominance. Soon after the finals many clubs showed interest in Israeli NT member, biggest names mentioned were CSKA Moscow and Olympiakos. Halperin chose Greek powerhouse who is building a team to overcome rival Panathinaikos.

Olympiacos will reportedly paid 650.000 € for buy-out. Player’s contract will probably be 3-years long and 3 millions $ worth.

Last season he averaged 10,4 ppg, 4.1 apg, 2.1 rpg and was selected to the second Euroleague team.
