Austin Reaves and LeBron James were top two scorers for the Lakers with 22 points each in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, but it wasn’t enough as their team lost to the Nuggets (103-108) to go down 0-2 in the series.

During the postgame press conference Reaves talked about the importance for the Purple and Gold to not get down after losing the first two games of the series.

“Don’t get down,” the 24-year-old shooting guard said. “Denver’s the 1-seed for a reason. They’re a really good basketball team and quote-unquote, ‘They did what they were supposed to do here.’ Obviously we don’t love that. We wish we could’ve gotten one, two, whatever.

“But it’s time for us to lock in on Game 3, see what we did in this game, last game that worked, didn’t work, areas that we could get better, watch film, and just move on. I wish you could win them all but it’s not the nature of any sport.”
