The Suns lost against the Nuggets for the second time in a row as they fell in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals in Denver (87-97).

Phoenix could not stop Nikola Jokic who dropped game-high 39 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. The two-time NBA MVP also dished out 5 rebounds.

For the Suns just three players scored in double-digits. Namely, Devin Booker (35 points), Kevin Durant (24) and Deandre Ayton (14). Bench players added just 4 points.

Isaiah Thomas thought that Phoenix had too many tough shots in Game 2 and also lacked bench production.

“The suns shoot so many TOUGH 2s that you’ll live with throughout the game. So much energy to get to those. No bench help either!” Thomas tweeted.
