Joel Embiid scored 20 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists as the 76ers defeated the Nets in Game 2 of the first-round series.
The Cameroonian center also blocked three shots. He thought that number was low though. Embiid threw shade at Memphis goalkeeper and possibly newly crowned Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. when reacting to the number of his blocks on the stat sheet.
“I had three blocks… only three blocks? I probably need the Memphis goalkeeper,” Embiid said as the reporters burst out laughing.
