Many sources report that Olympiacos are trying to bring Argentinian forward Walter Herrmann back to Europe. Greek giants are targetting some big names this summer and Herrmann is one of them. He previously played in Spain representing Córdoba (2000–02), Fuenlabrada (2002–03) and Unicaja (2003–06) before moving to NBA to join Bobcats.
Walter Herrmann was traded to Detroit Pistons this season where he played only 7.1 minutes per game in 28 appearances averaging 3 points per game.
Herrmann's debut season in NBA was the best so far. He averaged 9.2 points per game for the Bobcats.
Pamesa Valencia is also said to be interested in Walter Herrmann. Though it should be very difficult for them to match the offer of Olympiacos.
