Russell Westbrook had one of his best games as a Clipper thus far as he scored 24 points and dished out 7 assists in a comfortable win over the Thunder (127-105).

Joining the Clippers is a fresh start for the former NBA MVP who spent the last year and a half with the Lakers where he was demoted to being the leader of the second unit.

“It’s definitely been a great experience,” Russ said after the game. “I’m grateful and blessed God has put me in this position. I’m thankful for that and I’m just going to cherish every moment I have. Hopefully we are playing at the end of June.”

Westbrook has started in all 13 games that he has played for the Clippers so far. He is averaging 14 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.3 rebounds in 30 minutes per game.
