When James Harden joined the 76ers, he had to settle for the second option behind Joel Embiid.

The 33-year-old shooting guard who has been one of the best scorers in the NBA for year, has adapted his game to do more playmaking.

According to former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins who was teammates with Harden in Oklahoma City, the Sixers star does not get enough credit for how he changed his game.

“Harden don’t get enough credit for transitioning his game from one of the best scorers in the game… to one of the best floor generals in the game!!! Carry on…” Perkins tweeted.

This season Harden is averaging 21.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 10.6 assists in 36.7 minutes per game.
