Kevin Durant has not played since early January when suffered an MCL sprain. The two-time NBA champion continues his recovery and is close to make a return.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the new Suns signing is targeting a return on Wednesday against the Hornets.

Another NBA insider Brian Windhorst says that Durant’s debut with the Suns could happen even sooner – on Sunday against the Bucks.

This season Durant is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 36 minutes per game.
