Patrick Beverley returns to his hometown of Chicago for another chapter of his career. The 34-year-old point guard decided to join the Bulls after agreeing to a buyout with the Magic.

He is eager to bring the team to the playoffs and provide an energy boost to its stars. It will take a strong push for the Bulls to make it to postseason as currently they sit in the eleventh place in the Eastern Conference.

“You know me, I’m going to be on Zach LaVine’s ass,” Pat Bev said on his podcast. “I’mma give him all the energy he needs. Destroy people. Me and DeMar DeRozan, we good. I got a popping five in Vucevic. I’m excited, I’m really excited.”

This season Beverley has averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 26.9 minutes per game.
