Nikola Jokic is considered the front-runner to win the MVP award this season which would be his third in a row. His peers seem to agree.
Zion Williamson chose the Serbian center as the best player in the NBA right now. Donovan Mitchell also picked the Nuggets superstar as the MVP favorite.
“I don’t know if you’ve all been watching what Jokic’s been doing. It’s f****** outrageous, to be honest. I don’t know how many people have won it 3 times in a row, but he’s other worldly right now,” Mitchell said, per Michel Scotto.
This season Jokic is averaging 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 10.1 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.
