Pelicans’ star Zion Williamson is one of the most powerful dunkers in the NBA, yet the former number one draft pick has never participated in the NBA Dunk Contest.
He is not ruling out that possibility, but has a narrow window of time when he thinks he could take part in the contest.
“I don’t know, man,” Zion said when asked what it would take to have him participate in the Dunk Contest. “I think it’s one of those in the moment kind of things. Where they ask me, if I’m feeling good about it, I’ll probably be like ‘You know what? I’ll probably do it.’ But I say if I’m gonna do it, I got to do within the next two years.”
