Amid the dramatic divorce he took with the Phoenix Suns, Jae Crowder is keeping his professionalism and gratitude intact for the said franchise as he is now moving forward for a new chapter in his career.

In his first media availability as the brand new member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Crowder spoke to reporters on Monday and revealed what went on in his final year with the Suns.

“I just feel like it’s behind me now. We had some stuff happen internally that they asked me to keep inside, so I’m going to grant their wishes.”

Prior to the start of the 2022-23 season, both Crowder and the Suns have mutually agreed to work out a trade. Initial reports suggested that the veteran took an issue with the club upon knowing that he will come off the bench behind Cam Johnson, but he went on to deny it eventually.

While sitting out, Crowder even managed to throw shots at the organization, noting that he was hurt on the way “coaches didn’t appreciate” his contributions within the last two years he played in Phoenix. As such, head coach Monty Williams addressed this sentiment and called the forward’s embattled statement as a “direct shot” to the team.

After months of being on the hunt, the Bucks have ultimately acquired Crowder in a three-team trade hours before the Feb. 9 trade cutoff this season. The veteran is yet to play this season as he is still looking to work his way towards conditioning before hitting the hardwood.

Crowder, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, averaged 9.4 points and 5.3 boards last season
