The Mavericks and Thunder faced off for the second time this season. It was Dallas who grabbed the win this time (121-114).
The stars of both teams – Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – put on a real show. The former scored 38 points along with 11 rebounds and 8 assists, while the latter led all scorers with 42 points.
After the game Doncic had nothing but praise for his opponent. “He’s a complete player,” the Slovenian superstar said about Gilgeous-Alexander, per Tim MacMahon.
“He’s unbelievable at drawing fouls, just playing at his own pace. He’s really amazing to watch this whole season and before. He’s beautiful to watch.”
