The Nets have seen the All-Star version Ben Simmons yet. The 26-year-old point guard has been rather disappointing so far this season.

Recently he has been demoted to a bench role by Brooklyn’s head coach Jacque Vaughn. The player had a game of the season so far agains the Kings as he scored 11 points in 20 minutes of play against the Kings.

However, team-wise this was a terrible game as the Nets lost by a whopping 32 points and allowed Sacramento to score 153 points.

According to an NBA insider Shams Charania, there has been building frustration surrounding Simmons within the organization. The former number one draft pick is aware of that.

“I get (the skepticism), but I think the one thing with me is that I’m a competitor,” Simmons said, per Charania.

This season Simmons is averaging 5.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 26.6 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
