Second-year big man Ömar Yurtseven underwent a successful surgery treatment this Tuesday to treat impingement, bone spur and stress reaction in his left ankle, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.

His timetable of recovery is yet to be determined.

Yurtseven is yet to slide into his season debut this 2022-23. He ultimately decided to undergo surgery after being offered multiple solutions to address his ankle woes.

The 24-year-old Turkish cager went undrafted last season in his rookie year, making himself a restricted free agent next summer.

In 56 games last season, he went off averaging 5.3 points, 5.3 boards in 52.6 percent shooting for 12.6 minutes of play.

With him out, Bam Adebayo and Dewayne Dedmon are set to carry a much heavier frontcourt responsibility for Miami.
