For the second time this season the Lakers (2-8) and the Clippers (6-5) are set to face each other. It was the Clippers that won the first meeting back in October (103-97).

The Lakers are likely to have LeBron James return for this game after missing the Jazz game. The four-time NBA champion is listed as probable with a left foot soreness. Another superstar Anthony Davis (low back tightness) is also probable.

Lonnie Walker IV, who became a starter for the Purple and Gold this season, is questionable with a non-Covid illness. Four more players are listed as out, namely, Thomas Bryant (left Ucl repair), Dennis Schroder (right Ucl repair), Scotty Pippen Jr. (G League – Two-Way) and Cole Swider (G League – Two-Way).

For the Clippers four players are on the injury report – all of them listed as out. The most notable one is Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury management), Brandon Boston Jr. (G League – On Assignment), Moussa Diabate, Moussa (G League – Two-Way) and Jason Preston (G League – On Assignment).

Ahead of tonight’s game, the Clippers are considered favorites amongst bookmakers, with NBA lines site Betway pricing them at 1.55 to beat the Lakers. The NBA betting odds for the Purple and Gold to win this game are at 2.75.
