Joe Mazzulla is ecstatic on the offensive show out of his Boston Celtics team against the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Mazzulla praised the Cs for their rain and being laser-focused from the distance, connecting a huge total of 27 threes en route to a 133-118 dominance inside the Madison Square Garden.

“For the most part, I thought we shot great threes,” Mazzulla said about his team’s shooting performance. “Our guys are getting comfortable from the fact that when we run good offense, have a good spacing and we read the defense we will get a great look.

“When you’re shooting that volume, there’s going to be some tough ones. But for the most part, I think our guys did a great job shooting the right ones.”

As they chipped down 27-of-51 shots from beyond the arc, Boston set a new franchise record for most three-pointers in the game. More than that, their display became the first time in NBA history that every inserted player of a team in the game has managed to drain a three-pointer.

Jaylen Brown led the way with 30 points (six threes), five rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes for the Celtics, with Jayson Tatum adding up 26 points, four rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks, banking six threes to add up on their collective feat.
