New Orleans Pelicans small forward Trey Murphy III went off for 22 points on a perfect 8-8 shooting (4-4 3-PT, 2-2 FT) last night vs. the Dallas Mavericks.

During postgame, Trey explained why he’s feeling more comfortable as a player in his second season.

(via New Orleans Pelicans):

“Experience. Trusting my work that I put in this summer. I put in a lot of work this summer and was very dedicated to making myself better in ways that I’ll help the team. A lot of film study, listening to what coach has to say, and my teammates trusting me as well. I think it’s just a mixture of all that, and it came out to this season.”
