The Boston Celtics appear confident that their coaching staff is good to go for the 2022-23 season.

Via Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe, the Celtics are happy and intend to move forward this upcoming season without implementing another coaching hire to help interim head coach Joe Mazzulla.

Mazzulla, 34, took over to call the shots for the franchise after Ime Udoka was suspended for a full season due to his improper relationship with a team staffer.

Boston made a move initially to help Mazzulla in the sidelines. They ultimately came up short of landing back Jay Larranaga as an assistant, as he opted to remain in Ty Lue’s staff within the Los Angeles Clippers.

Meanwhile, former head coaches Frank Vogel and Terry Stotts were rumored as potential assistants, but the ball club was pessimistic on the possibility of tapping them.

Mazzulla, in his first official stint of being a head coach, has been leading the Celtics to a 2-1 record this preseason and will enter the finale against Toronto Raptors on Friday.

As such, he has a daunting challenge in front of him of guiding the title heavyweight Celtics back to the NBA Finals and raise that coveted 18th banner.
