The Boston Celtics were practicing at The Auerbach Center following media day to start training camp for the 2022-23 season. Celtics All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were at opposite ends of the court. In the backcourt Jayson Tatum was working on his float game and Brown was s***ing free throws in the foreground, according to John Karalis of the Boston Sports Journal.
Speaking of Brown, during his press conference, Brown admitted that he was blinded by the allegations against Boston head coach Ime Udoka. He was shocked and confused.
“We were all shocked… a little confused. A lot of information wasn’t being shared with us. So, I can’t really comment on it.
Brown, who has been with the Celtics for the past six seasons, said there had been no conversations between him and Udoka. Since the coach was suspended for the scandal.
Jayson Tatum also talked about Udoka and the suspension imposed on the C’s head coach throughout the season, calling it “a lot to process.”
“Coming into this season,” the star wing said, “you feel a certain way, and coming off last year, you’re excited. Trying to do all these things.”
“Along with everyone else, just still trying to process it all, knowing we start practice tomorrow.”
