European standout Vasilije Micic won’t take his talents yet in the NBA, as his agent Misko Raznatovic has announced that the guard intends to play for another year with Anadolu Efes.

Micic, 28, will be back and slated to lead the Efes for a magical three-peat run in the EuroLeague. He was named as the Final Four MVP of the tourney from back-to-back seasons in 2021 and 2022.

The Serbian sensation has openly expressed for multiple times his interest in playing in the NBA, but his ideals of being traded to a contender by the Oklahoma City Thunder, who currently hold his rights, didn’t materialize this offseason. Various reports suggest that OKC values Micic and don’t want to give him away easily.

The Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Chicago Bulls were some of the league contenders that were linked to Micic.

Micic still has one year left to play in his contract with Efes.
