Jabari Smith was one of the three players that were projected to be the number one pick in this year’s NBA Draft. He ended up getting drafted by the Rockets at the third overall pick.
Paul Banchero and Chet Holmgren were drafted before him. While Smith expected to hear his name sooner, he says it doesn’t matter.
“Of course I’ll use it as a chip on my shoulder,” the 19-year-old forward said about being drafted at number three.
