Jabari Walker is following his father’s footsteps as he aims to become an NBA player. The 19-year-old son of Samaki Walker will enter this year’s NBA Draft after two years with the Colorado Buffaloes. Recently he worked out for the Lakers.

His father spent two years with the Lakers and won a championship in 2002 during his ten-year NBA career. Jabari was asked if he was a fan of the team growing up.

“I didn’t, honestly,” Walker said. “I can’t even lie. I like watching basketball. I was a LeBron fan. So, wherever LeBron was, that’s the team I was rooting for. I can’t even be a bandwagon or lie about it though. I’m a Lebron fan.”
