With no draft picks on their hands the Lakers are forced to look for alternative ways to add players to the roster. The purple and gold have already worked out some draft prospects that may go undrafted.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports that on Tuesday Los Angeles worked out five free agents, namely Langston Galloway, Kyle Guy, Alize Johnson, Louis King and D.J. Wilson.

Galloway, 30, last played for the Nets. He was unable to get a permanent deal and had two 10-day deals – with the Nets and the Bucks.

Guy, 24, has played 53 games in the NBA so far. Most recently he was with the Heat where he appeared 19 games averaging 3.9 points per game.

26-year-old power forward Alize Johnson is another player trying to find his place in the league. Since 2018 he had brief stints with five different teams.

Small forward Louis King, 23, this past season was on a two-way contract with the Kings before getting waived in May.

Wilson, a 26-year-old small forward, split this past season between the Raptors and G League.
