Draymond Green was extra motivated after the Warriors lost Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Celtics. The three-time NBA champion brought even more intensity in Game 2, helping Golden State tie the series.

After the game Steph Curry was asked when was it that he realized that Green will be fired up for Game 2. “Five minutes after Game 1,” he responded. He was then asked about what kind of trickle effect Draymond’s defence had on the team.

“I think you could have put Draymond on coach Udoka and it’d have been a different ballgame from yesterday just based on the way he approached the game,” Curry said. “Matchups are matchups, but everybody has to bring the right intensity and Draymond did that from the jump.”
