The Lakers don’t have any draft picks in this year’s NBA Draft, so the team is looking at the players that might go undrafted. The 22-year-old 6’2″ guard Jamaree Bouyea was among the players that have worked out for Los Angeles.

He spent five years at San Francisco college playing for the Dons. Last year he played 34 games for the team averaging 17.3 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 36.2 minutes per game.

“The workout was good,” Bouyea said. “It was a fun workout. Exciting to be in the Lakers facility obviously. I think we got up and down and competed a little bit and showed our talents, showed our strengths. Just enjoyed the process and enjoyed the whole workout.

“I think I can bring to the NBA defense, I can bring offense, I can score the ball, if I have to pick up 94 feet as a guard I can do that as well. I can also get my teammates open. I’m coming to the NBA trying to win games as much as possible.”
