After dropping Game 1 against the Timberwolves at home, the Grizzlies responded by winning two games in a row. Memphis is now a single win away from winning the series.

Minnesota took control of Game 3 early as they led by 26 points but Ja Morant’s team managed to come back and take the win. The 22-year-old point guard had a triple-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

At the final buzzer Morant threw the ball in the air as he celebrated the win. He was asked by the media during a postgame press conference how he felt getting booed by the Minnesota fans every time he touched the ball.

“I’m disrespectful just like they’re disrespectful,” Morant said. “That’s why you see I threw that ball in the air. I asked for the ball. I know what we’re capable of.

“Like I said this morning, that was our goal. Come in and win games on the road and have their fans go home mad. There’s probably a lot of people drinking tonight with that L. I’ve seen a video too. Y’all see it later though.”
