Kendrick Nunn’s affiliation to the Los Angeles Lakers is expected to stretch until the next season.

Nunn, who was ruled out by the Lakers last month this season, is being anticipated to pick up the $5.2 million player option in the two-year contract he inked last year (h/t Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report).

The 26-year-old guard continues to have a suspicious bone bruise injury recovery which started during the Lakeshow’s preseason games earlier this season. His lengthened absence served as one of the huge blows to the team’s current depressing campaign.
